He was a tri blue merle and his name was D'L (Bessamour D'Ltan Azure). He also had his herding titles. He was used at stud many times and his kids are doing wonders in flyball, herding, agility, Disc Dog, S&R and whatever other dog sports they compete in.
I kept his litter brother Digger, also a tri blue merle, who sadly went to Rainbow Bridge last year, just a few weeks after D'L. I guess they are doing flyball over there.

I've uploaded photos of them below:

Great action photos, very stunning dogs .. thanks for sharing on here.

Well, we train with the Moulten teams and I was in the Molten Maybes with Lex my collie x as Della is not quite a focused as Lex is.

She is ok and will be very consistent and then lose interested and stop half way down the lane and sniff the floor.... or run out and try and find Lex who is almost always barking his head off in the car whilst I am running with Della! :) Dogs..... dont ya just love em!

This has to be the best dog toy I ever bought for my dogs. In fact I even bought a second one because they all want to play with it. It is made from hard yellow plastic and is indestructible!!!

I've also got a pig ball they love to play with. Here, Shannon's pal Bridie tells her how it should be pushed around:

This is a hard blue plastic ball sold in agricultural shops. Used to keep pigs amused in their pens.

Shannon is really having a good time with his toy. He is looking great!
I am not sure mine would like the big one, they like to get hold of their footballs etc, I think they would get bored if they couldn't shake it to death
Bridie is looking good too.

Shannon competed in his second starters flyball competition at Epworth on 13th May 2012, and didn't make a single mistake. He ran in his first one two weeks previously at Carlton Towers, but unfortunately I have no photos of video. He's racing again this coming weekend at Swallownest.

You can watch him on YouTube here:
